Foundry production

OZMM founding Production is a large modern foundry with a 30 000 tons of shaped castings capacity a year and with a crane equipment with the hoisting capacity to 80 tons.

The Prevailed character of the founding production is small serial. In general, the makes are manufacturing in small quantity- from some pieces to dozens pieces; also there is a possibility to product the permanent serial nomenclature.

The foundry consist of :

  1. Steel-smelting section, wich is eqiuped by 5 arces steel-smelting furnaces (DSP 6H-1) with the face value at liquid steel 6,0 tons +20% overload, the tock of steel castings, equiped with back set with capacity in 10 tons of liquid steel. The technology of the steel smelting with hot briquetted iron using, wich allows to smelt the metal of procticaly any steels marks with high mechanical properties and low content of injurious touchs (phosphorus, sulphur).

    (S)=0,010-0,015 %
    It's lower than, when smelting on the one crow.
  2. Moulding section has two lines of the mechanised moulding, the part of hand-moulding and the bar part. The lines of the mechanised moulding are intended for making of:
    • large semiforms in flasks with a scales in light:
      2780*2600*300-900 (400; 600) mm (max)
      semiform's mass is 15 tons
    • - small and middle semiforms in flasks with scales in light:
      1200*1600*500/600
      1600*2000*600 mm (max)
      semiform's mass is 5 tons
    • the parts of hand-moulding make the mouldings in flasks with a scales in light:
      2000*2000*500 mm
      3000*3000*500 mm
      3600*3600*600 mm

The moulding production at the factory realizes by modern technological processes, devised by "Borden" (Great Britain) at the beginning of 1990. There technologies are based on cold solidification touches using.
- For Alfa-set process forms;
- For Beta-set process bars

The forms and bars have a tensile strength nor less, than 10-12 kg/cm 3 and high measuring precision. They excel in thermo-stable and erosive- stable the blends with furan resin, used for these purposes. Through low gas emission capacity of the blends the possibilities of carbonaceous- and alloyed steels mouldings receipt gain in breadth. For this steel gas shell presence is not permissible (pomp's bodies, lock accessories ).

The high strength of the forms and bars allows to make complex configuration mouldings (bodies of gear boxes, brake drums).

This technology give the mononomenclature production possibility, the fast reregulating of the technological process by a new nomenclature lead in, the time reduction for production preparation, the single mouldings and small series making.

The high strength and the short induration cycle by Alfa-set process sometimes allow to make the unflask moulding, reducing the rigging making expenses.

The important possibilities by effective complex mouldings production are using to make Beta-set process's bars. The bars are made on Automated Core Shooter, where the one output making cycle 40-50 seconds is.

The new technological bars and forms making process with effective antiburning means give a real possibilities to make mouldings with minimum machining allowances of a different complexity degree.
